Taking Care of Myself

I used to be one of those girls whose bedtime beauty regime involved a face wipe, often applied once already in bed, half asleep and in the dark. This was doing my poor skin no favours, however, so I decided enough was enough. I am 22 now after all, and need to take care of my skin! I bought a really cheap cleanser (we're talking 98p sainsbury's own brand!), a skin wash to help clear blackheads and prevent blemisges, and cracked out my garnier moisturiser that I have been neglecting. I still need to get myself some toner.

Since starting to use these products morning and night, for three days so far, I have noticed a visible difference in my face. I have much less blemishes, my skin feels and looks fresher and less drawn and tired, and I just feel a lot better in my skin before bed and before putting my make up in the morning. I would definitely recommend starting a skincare regime to anyone who, like me, just use a makeup wipe to remove the dirt of makeup or just from daily life. It is never too early to take care of your skin.

Do you already have a skincare regime? What does it involve?

  2. at the moment im really trying finding the 'perfect' beauty regime...so far it contains Dermalogica special cleansing gel used with a musing square as that also exfoliates and clinique toner, still trying out different scrubs (so far boots botanics and no7 one from boots ) I think i like the boots one best but i still think i can find better...and still trying out moisturisers at the moment (got loads of sampes on the go. The transition from using garnier in the blue bottles as a teenager to worrying about 20 something skin is proving difficult...or im fussy? im not sure!
