Game of Thrones Addiction

I have a new obsession... and yes, I know I am pretty late to the party on this one but I have only just been introduced to this amazing show by my boyfriend and now I can't get enough. Which is fine, for now, as I have been overdosing on episodes in an aim to catch up before series 5 begins on 13th April. However, I know that after series 5 ends I am going to have serious withdrawal symptoms having to wait along with everyone else for the next series, which I'm also told is going to be the last (please say it isn't so)?

Having only started watching it a couple of weeks ago, I am now averaging 3 episodes a night and am two episodes into series 4. Of course I knew a couple of things that happened, largely due to my Facebook obsession and the fact that fans of the show had been posting back when it was aired on TV, but overall I have been able to watch it without huge spoilers.

My favourite characters are Daenerys and Tyrion and my obsession has become so bad that I even did one of those online quizzes to see which character I am and was annoyed to have got Cersei rather than Daenerys (I also made Ed do it and he came out with Jon Snow).

So yes, I am fully addicted to the show now and cannot wait to finish series 4 and to be able to watch series 5 along with everyone else in a couple of weeks time. Very excited (and I don't care how sad that makes me)!

Current Obsession!

Ok, so these have actually been a craving of mine ever since I was pregnant with Cameron! I love fruit salad sweets but they are hard to come by these days. I usually end up buying them in a multipack with Blackjacks, but I hate blackjacks so it ends up being a bit of a waste of money, especially when I end up with only 5 fruit salads in a pack!

When I was travelling back from Essex at the weekend we stopped at a service station about 45 minutes from home and they had packs of Fruit Salads! I was so pleased I bought three packets. It's just a shame that they are so far from home and cost 65p a packet (total rip off, for the size they should be about 40p max).

Does anyone know of anywhere in the Bournemouth area that sells Fruit Salads on their own? I would be eternally grateful!

My Latest Obession

As you may already know, I got the iPhone 4 the other day and have since had it permanently attached to my side. I discovered iBooks straight away as it was suggested to me by the phone itself. I hadn't heard of it before, but was aware of things like the Kindle allowing you to read books on gadgets.

I looked at the free selection of ibooks first but wasn't too impressed, they were either by unknown authors, really short stories, or classic novels. I did download Wuthering Heights, but got about three pages in before I realised it wasn't the sort of book to capture my imagination whilst using an iPhone. I needed something relatively short, sweet and funny. A chick flick basically. I had another search and came across a book called A Girl Like You by Gemma Burgess for £1.99. I read a couple of the excellent reviews and then downloaded it.

I am so glad I did as I have been glued to the book ever since! I don't get much of a chance to read these days as I have Cameron all through the day, apart from when he naps, which is when I get housework, baking etc done, so I have been reading a little each night. I have found it hard to 'put the book down' each night as it is such a good read, and once I start reading, I find it difficult to stop! I am already looking forward to finding my next online book to read as this one is sadly drawing to a close.

I would definitely recommend iBooks as it is an easy way to read on the go, cheaply, and you can even play music or flick back to Facebook whenever you want!
