Product Review: Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry

I bought this when it had first come out in Boots but with the move I have been unable to post about it until now. I was a bit unsure whether I would like this scent or not as I have never really cared either way about the smell of cherries. I had a quick smell of it in the shop and thought it smelt quite nice so I bought it.

What they say:

The can has the usual blurb stating that the product banishes oily roots and gives dull and lifeless hair 'the makeover it needs without any water'. As this new product doesn't do anything different as such, there are no added promises. It just states that it is a 'fruity and cheeky cherry' scent.

What I say:

I have loved the batiste range of dry shampoo ever since I first used them so I was not disappointed with the product itself. It does exactly what it says on the tin, which is to refresh my slightly greasy hair in between washes as well as providing a little oomph to flat hair when I have been laying on it or out in the cold weather. The scent is nice and fresh and girly without being overpowering and I would say it is my favourite of their scents so far. I have found some of the others a bit too strong so this was perfect. I would definitely recommend those who like the Batiste range to try out this new scent as it is one of the best and perfect as we come (slowly) into spring.

Rating:

5/5 Would definitely recommend to others!

Love

I am totally loving my new house! I only moved in a week ago but I have worked hard to 'make a house a home' and put my personal touches in. I love my room as it is nice, very girly and with loads of storage! I will be posting up photos of my room in a future post!

Like

I am liking Playing it Straight at the moment as something to watch with the boyfriend whilst having dinner as it isn't something you need to concentrate on and is quite amusing trying to guess which of the guys are gay. I haven't had much time for TV lately so have fallen behind on shows like Desperate Housewives, and haven't even watched an episode of the latest series of TOWIE, but I have watched the last couple of espisodes of this.

Something I am definitely hating right now is bills! Moving is so expensive as it is with the deposits and rent in advance etc that I really could do without then being faced with loads of closing account bills totalling to well over £100..... Not fair!

Catch Up Post!

Wow, I didn't realise how much I would miss reguarly being able to blog until I became too busy to do much at all! Luckily I have a Blogger app on my iPhone which has allowed me to keep up with the Project 365.

Now I am pretty much all settled in at the new house (there are still things absolutely everywhere downstairs but my room at least resembles a room now), I will hopefully be blogging more reguarly again.

I have lots of posts lined up including my take on Valentine's Day as someone in a couple, a tour around my new house (probably start with my bedroom as, like I say, the rest of the house is still a bit of a shambles), a couple of product reviews and the rest of my life experiences challenge I started before the move.

I am also planning  my next Vlog over on my YouTube channel. I want it to be a kind of getting to know me one for those of you who haven't been reading since the start so look out for that in the next week as well!

Project 365 #21 Fajitas with a twist

I love fajitas and I love chilli con carne so I decided to mix the two tonight after a tough workout. It was very yummy and really filling!

Project 365 #20 Looking after Myself

With the cold weather and stress of the move, I've been feeling quite unwell. To combat this I have been trying to drink smoothies as often as possible. I love this one from m&s- yummy!

Project 365 #19 Freeeeeeeeeeezing!

So this morning it was -10 degrees in Bournemouth, and it was so so cold!! I wanted to stay wrapped up in bed all day but managed to get some energy together and totally sort out my unpacking. My room is now totally sorted out so will get some photos up of it soon! We only got a teeny bit of snow today and it didn't settle, but it still got me excited! I am such a kid at heart...

Project 365 #18 Making a House a Home

Today my mum and brother are moving into the new house and everything is finally starting to look like a home here! We had virgin reinstalled this morning and I am so happy to have the Internet back! Once everything is moved over this weekend we can finally get settled and start enjoying decorating and adding personal touches to the house.

Project 365 #17 Baby it's Cold Outside...

My word, how freezing cold does it want to be?! As we are having problems with our heating in the new house me and Cameron are currently holed up in my bedroom. He's asleep and I'm under the covers eating yummy chocolate to distract myself from the cold!

OOTD Keeping Warm

It's been so cold the last few days that I've resorted to wearing a jumper (very unlike me). I love this girly slogan one from New Look though. I'm wearing it with a black vest top from H&M and my New Look skinny jeans. I've also curled my hair and slept on it which leaves it like this.

Project 365 #16 Freezing Weather!

This morning saw me at a meeting very early and my poor feet were frozen in my ballet pumps! I ended up going in New Look in search of some warmer footwear and found these lovely warm ugg style boots in the sale for just £6! Only pair in my size as well, must be fate! I also got a nice warm pair of socks. My feet thanked me for it!
