Where in the World...

I love going on holiday. Unfortunately working full time with two young children this isn't that easy. But a girl can dream...

These are the top ten holiday destinations I would love to be jetting off to:

1. Santorini

Greek islands in general look pretty lovely but there's something about Santorini which just makes it look so bloody gorgeous I want to be there right this second. When I feel low I look at beautiful pictures of this place. I will go there very soon!

2. New York

I have wanted to go here for a few years now and haven't managed to yet. I want to go just before Christmas, as it looks even more magical and amazing then. The only problem is, this is when it's A. really, really expensive and B. totally busy.

3. Antigua

Ever since I watched Pirates of the Caribbean I have wanted to go here. It looks beautiful but oh so expensive and far, far away!

4. The Maldives

Another beautiful location and somewhere I MUST go to before I die. It is true paradise.

5. Canada

Technically I've been here before but it is somewhere I would love to go to again. I would like to explore more as well as so far I have only been to Vancouver Island where my aunt and uncle live. Totally amazing place.

6. Italy

I am not specific, I just really want to go to Italy. Any part. It just looks cool.

7. L.A

My mum's cousin lives here and I love how it looks. I have been told I wouldn't like it there but I think I would. Although maybe this is a feeling I got from watching too many chick flicks....

8. Egypt

No real explanation other than it looks amazing and I might finally get to ride my camel I've been wanting to ride!

9. Lapland

I want to take the children to meet Santa (and I totally want to meet him too!). Looks so cold but such a truly wonderful experience!

10. Mexico

I love Mexican food. This is the home of Mexican food. I could fall in love with this place a little!

October Plans

I  have missed writing up my plans for the month on the blog but have been distracted with the pregnancy, now it is coming towards an end, I thought I would let you all know my plans for October (even though some are pregnancy related!)

2nd October: 34 Week Midwife appointment and Cameron's 2 Year Developmental Check

Tomorrow I have my 34 week check up with a new midwife (my original one has apparently now gone on maternity leave herself). I will be making sure I ask about the whooping cough jab that is being offered to women between 28 and 38 weeks of pregnancy). It is also Cameron's 2 year developmental check up where the health visitor will check he is doing what he should be for his age range as well as looking at his weight and height etc.

3rd October: First Christmas shopping trip!

I am very excited about this! I love shopping but can't go as much as I would like as I don't have the money. Having saved up some pennies, I am going on the first of three big shopping trips to try and get the Christmas presents bought before my little girl enters the world!

5th October: Possible Maternity Photoshoot

I say possible as we have had to rearrange so might have to again, but hopefully I will be having some photos taken alongside Tim, Cameron and of course baby girl bump!

12th October: 1 Year Anniversary with Tim

On 12th October it will have been a year since me and Tim first started going out. This year has gone so fast! It is a bit crazy that by our one year anniversary we will be only a month away from meeting our baby girl and will have been engaged for three months!

13th October: Birthday Celebrations

It is my brother's girlfriend's birthday on 15th so there will be celebrations at the weekend, got to love an excuse to celebrate!

14th October: Wedding Show

I haven't been to a wedding show for a few weeks so I thought it was about time I went to another, especially as we have now got our definite date having booked our venue! I shall be on the lookout for a photographer for the big day, as well as possible DJs, although we haven't decided whether to have a DJ at all yet. It is also a chance to get some brilliant ideas and freebies, yay!

17th October: Relaxation Antenatal, 36 Week Growth Scan and Consultant appointment

I have a very busy morning planned as I have my first of two relaxation antenatal classes at 10am before going straight for my 36 week growth scan and then onto the consultant appointment where they will let me know whether my fluid levels have continued to rise or not (fingers crossed they haven't).

22nd October: Full Term!

This is very exciting as it means the baby could be born from any point now on. It is also the time when I allow myself to start trying a few things to help the baby along such as eating spicy curries and fresh pineapple (though I would never try castor oil or anything not classed as safe). Although it will feel good to be able to do some things that might help baby along, I know deep down that baby only comes when ready!

23rd October: Vicar visit to book Church for our Wedding

We are booking the church where Cameron was Christened for our wedding and I can't wait! The church is beautiful!

24th October: 2nd Relaxation Antenatal

I don't really know what to expect with these classes but hopefully they will help me relax during labour! If nothing else I hope to meet some fellow pregnant women.

29th October: Cousin's 21st Birthday

I'm not sure whether my cousin will be doing anything to celebrate which I would be able to join in with but either way it is an exciting time for him. I was 5 months pregnant with Cameron when I turned 21 so didn't get up to much!

Plans for March!

I haven't done one of these posts in a few months, but I thought I would this month as I actually have the next few weekends booked up.

9th March

Next weekend I am going to Essex to visit my dad and sister. It will be the first time my dad meets my boyfriend so I am a bit nervous about it but also excited as I haven't seen my sister in ages! We are staying a couple of nights and going back home on Sunday.

17th March

The weekend after we are going visiting again, this time to my boyfriend's parent's new house.

18th March

We will be coming back on the Sunday in time to celebrate Mother's Day with my mum and nan. It is my third Mother's Day as a mummy if you count the year I was pregnant (my second if you don't). I love being a mum so this is a special day for me. I also want to show how much I appreciate my own mum and everything she does for me.

23rd March

Me and Katie just after I had Cameron

My friend Katie was due to come and visit the first weekend of March but wasn't able to because of work so we are hoping she will be able to come this weekend instead. I don't see her often, but when I do we always have a great catch up and eat lots of yummy food.

27th March

My best friend's due date is today, but we think she will have the baby early. I am so excited for her and even more excited to find out the sex of the baby as she didn't find out (my guess is a girl).

31st March

I am going to Cornwall for a week with my family which will be nice. I am hoping to just be able to relax and have a nice time. I have been on holiday to Cornwall a lot in the past and it is a lovely place to stay.

Do you have exciting plans for March?

Decemeber Plans!

Happy Decemeber everyone!

I absolutely love this month and would say it is my favourite month of the whole year mainly due to the huge event that happens near the end of it! I have a few exciting plans for this month:

3rd-4th December:

I am going to London for the weekend with my mum, Cameron and boyfriend. We are staying in a central London hotel and going to Winter Wonderland to look around the Christmas market and meet Santa! I am so excited about this as I went briefly last year and loved it. It is so Christmassy and the big kid inside me cannot wait! In the evening my mum is going to look after Cameron at the hotel so that me and my boyfriend can go get something to eat and maybe have a couple of drinks too. On Sunday we haven't really made a plan yet, but sightseeing and shopping are high on the agenda. It's such a shame that me and my boyfriend are both ill at the moment, I am hoping for a miraculous recovery by tomorrow morning for us both, fingers crossed!

16th (approx):

At some point mid December, I am hoping to meet up with my friends from school for a 'fake Christmas'- either an actual smaller version of Christmas dinner round someone's house, or going out for something to eat.

21st:

Work It Baby Christmas Meal

As I am not working this year, I felt a bit at a loss not having a Christmas meal to look forward to, luckily there is one planned for the exercise class I attend each week and I am very much looking forward to piling back on some of the weight I have lost through the class at the meal! It is at a hotel in Bournemouth and I have already picked from the menu, yummy!

25th:

Obviously Christmas!! Going to be amazing! We are still a little unsure whether our family are coming down from Kent at the moment for the meal, but either way, it will be spent in Bournemouth with lots of food, drink and presents! Yay!

27th:

We are travelling up to Kent and then in the evening, travelling from London by coach to stay in Newcastle for a few days and see my brother and his girlfriend (who are not coming down for Christmas). I am looking forward to it, apart from the majorly long journey with Cameron! I hate coaches as it is, let alone with a possibly very grumpy child...

30th:

We are travelling back down to Bournemouth in time for New Years Eve, yay!

31st:

I have yet to make any New Years Eve plans, but I am looking forward to seeing a new year in and saying bye to the tough year that was 2011!

Overview of November

This month is a busy one for me. I have a lot of family events coming up and a couple of birthdays of people very close to me so I have lots to look forward to. Here's what's on my calendar this month so far:

9th November:

My graduation is something I have been looking forward to/dreading ever since I got my results and knew for definite that I had passed my four year degree. Despite the fact that I barely even speak to most of the people on my course any more, I am looking forward to it because I really didn't think I was going to make it to graduation. I had Cameron just two weeks before I started back at Uni for my fourth year and I wanted to leave so many times over the year. To have finished my degree at all was an achievement in itself, to do it with a respectable 2:1 degree was great for me! My mum and my dad will be in the audience, along with Cameron.

11th November:

I have been invited to attend my best friend Sealy's graduation and in the evening I am having a family meal to celebrate my own graduation. I can't wait, love being the centre of attention (heehee)!

14th November:

My mum turns 49 and we will be celebrating on the day as well as having a meal later on in the week with family.

16th November:

Sealy's 22nd birthday!

22nd November:

I am unsure whether I will be going, but I was invited to a blogging event up North. It is a long journey with Cameron in tow and I haven't heard back from the organisers since responding to their email, so it won't break my heart if I don't attend.

25th November:

Me and Katie on a 'night out' when I was 8 months pregnant

My friend Katie, who I met online a couple of years ago, is coming down for the weekend and I am very excited as I haven't seen her in months and have missed talking to her as much as I used to of late. Definitely cause for a couple of glasses of wine and plenty of junk food!

Then the first weekend of December I am going to be booking a weekend away in London to go to the Winter Wonderland, do some sightseeing and just have a bit of a break. Can't wait!

Do you have any exciting plans for November?
