Fake Christmas!

Every year I used to meet up with my friends from school and have a 'fake Christmas' where we would exchange presents, have a Christmas dinner and just hang out and have a good catch up. I had lost contact with some of the girls in recent years but this year some of us got together and we all had a lovely time. Three of the four of us have children now so it was nice to have all the little boys there (who all have names beginning with C: Charlie, Cameron and Callum).

We had an amazingly yummy dinner as the chef and hostess for the day is a brilliant cook! We had a starter of homemade red pepper and tomato soup with crusty rolls then the main a yummy roast with all the trimmings!

I got some lovely gifts as well and couldn't be happier with what the girls gave me (and Cameron was also very spoilt with his gifts!). This is what I got:
