10 Day Life Experiences Challenge: Day 02. Who has made the biggest impact in your life, and why?

I would say that obviously Cameron has been the person to make the biggest impact on my life.

Before I fell pregnant I had been a bit lost, going from one bad relationship to the next and drinking and eating too much.

Me a few months before I became pregnant

Being pregnant and on my own, although stressful, made me so much stronger as a person. It made me reassess what was important to me and made me realise I didn't have to be with someone. I had Cameron alone and stayed single up until he was 13 months old when I met my boyfriend.

With my boyfriend and Cameron a couple of months ago

Being a single mum was never something I had planned but I have such a great relationship with my son and I wouldn't change that for the world. Cameron has made everything worthwhile, everything more important. Having him has made me a better person. I am fascinated by every milestone he reaches, everything he does makes me proud. He is everything to me.

Project 365

Ever since I saw Rachel from Life of a Sweetaholic mention on Twitter that she was planning on starting Project 365 I have thought it was a great idea and I am totally loving hers already so I have decided to attempt the challenge myself.

Basically, Project 365 involves uploading a photo a day to your blog of something that happened to you that day or someone who you spent time with, or what you were wearing etc. It just has to be done everyday for a year and the idea is to let your followers into your world and let you see your life from different angles.

I love taking photos as they provide amazing memories for the future so this is a challenge I will definitely be trying my hardest to keep up.

Are you planning on doing the project too? Or are you already completing it? Leave me your links below!

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Day 03. (Dec 23rd) Photograph your favorite Christmas decor in your tree.

This is definitely my favourite Christmas decoration. I was bought it last Christmas for Cameron's first, but then my mum accidentally broke it so we replaced it in London. I love it as it is so personal and really sweet.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Day 04. (Dec 22nd) A favorite Christmas movie.

Without a doubt it has to be the Home Alone films. Only the first two though....

I love them and literally must have watched them both about 6 times so far this Christmas! So festive and the music just totally makes it for me.

12 Days of Christmas Challenge: Day 07. (Dec 19th) Plans for the holiday. Just brief.

My plans for Christmas have changed slightly from the last time I posted about them...

My aunt and her family are coming down from Kent and we are all having a big family meal and spending the rest of the day and night with them over my nan's after initally opening presents and having our traditional bacon sandwich breakfast at mum's. Then on Boxing day I will be seeing the boyfriend and on 27th mum will be going off to Newcastle to visit my brother and his girlfriend without me and Cameron.

Basically, after a nightmare journey back from London on the coach a few weeks ago, I made the tough decision not to take Cameron on the eight hour each way journey as he would have been so uncomfortable and grumpy. I am upset not to be seeing my brother but have plans to spend the time with my boyfriend and Cameron, which is nice.

I have still not made any plans for New Years Eve yet- arghh! But am sure the whole Christmas will be great fun (as long as I get rid of this cold I have, again!!).

2011/2012 Challenge: Day 9: What are you looking forward to in 2012?

Apart from hopefully getting a job and moving at the start of the year, the main things I am looking forward to next year are:

My Birthday (of course!)

Taking a little summer holiday with Cameron somewhere

A big family party to celebrate Cameron turning 2, my Nan turning 80, cousin turning 21 and Mum turning 50!!

Taking Cameron to Disneyland Paris for Christmas!!

What are you most looking forward to in 2012?

2011/2012 Challenge: Day 8: Things you hope for in 2012.

The main thing I desperately want for 2012 is to get a job and actually make a start with my career.... but the more I talk to people about my options, the less likely this seems! As a single mum, I am stuck due to sky high childcare costs, a lack of jobs and all the rent and bills to pay alone. Things are looking bleak. I had hoped to have everything sorted for when my tenancy ends in mid February, but this is unlikely, and I guess I may have to face up to the fact that this ridiculous government has made it impossible for me not to 'sponge off taxpayers', and stay on benefits for the time being at least.

Other things I hope for in 2012 are of course health and happiness for myself and my family.
