Photo a Day Challenge: Day 2- Nails

These are my sparkly New Year's Eve nails. I never get a chance to do my nails with a newborn so this was done very quickly, not my best work!

Perfectly Pink Nails

My brother and his girlfriend gave me a belated birthday present at the weekend. A Nails Inc nail glitter in Pink Diamond. It is such a girly shade and I couldn't wait to try it out when I got home. I have used it over the top of a No7 shade in Me, Me, Me which is a bright pink colour and I love the result.

My nails have never looked so girly and they have definitely cheered me up on such a dull, gloomy bank holiday!

My Amazing New Nails!

Yesterday afternoon in time for my Christmas meal, I had my first ever set of acrylic nails done and I could not be more pleased with them!

I have bitten my nails since I was really young and, although I recently stopped and they were ok in length, they are very weak and break easily so I loved the idea of having pretty long nails for once.

I had them done by an old friend Tish (Letitia's Nails) and she really is fantastic and so reasonably priced too! I am very impressed and will be having them done with her again in the future!

I am finding them a bit strange to get used to, even the simplest tasks are fiddly now like opening buttons and typing on my phone! However, I am in love with them and couldn't be happier. They have even made me forget how rubbish I have been feeling with this cold in the run up to Christmas! I got so many compliments last night as well, very happy girly!

Christmas Nails

I went out at the weekend and had a bit of time beforehand to pamper. I decided to paint my nails Christmassy for a few days before having my first ever set of acrylics on Wednesday. I chose a deep slightly shimmery red no7 shade for the nail and then my Nails Inc gold shimmer colour for the tips.

What do you think?

In Love with Nails Inc

Ever since I got my copy of Glamour magazine with a free Nails Inc nail varnish I have been wanting to get my hands on more of the range but couldn't really justify the £11 price tag on something for my nails....

However, when I was in London this weekend I had been so good all weekend not buying things for myself that when I saw a big Nails Inc stand in House of Fraser I had to have one! There was a deal on for three for £22 (so basically buy two, get one free), but I just got the one.

I was instantly attracted to a shimmery gold shade and both my mum and boyfriend said it looked nice (Cameron is still a bit young to have any say in these things) so I got it and am pleased that I did as it is the perfect shade for Christmas! It is also called Westminster Abbey, which I found fitting as we had just seen it!

Excuse the very poor quality of my nails and nail beds- they have become stained by dark nail varnish!

I feel very festive with it on. What do you think? Are you a fan of Nails Inc?

Glamourous Nails with Glamour Magazine

I heard someone mention that this months Glamour magazine had a free Nails Inc nail polish with it so when I was in town I made sure I picked up a copy. I like Glamour magazine but often can't justify spending money on magazines that I never get a chance to read. I bought this one though and am glad I did as the nail colour I got is stunning.

Nails Inc in Picadilly Circus

It makes my nails look really nice and sophisticated and I will definitely be wearing it again. It is a great shade for the season. Go pick up your copy now!

No7 Madness!

Every so often Boots start producing No7 vouchers and I can justify spending money on the range (as otherwise I see it as a bit overpriced!).

This time round I bought two nail varnishes, which I am wearing on my nails and toenails at the moment. Both only ended up costing me £2 as opposed to £7 so I am very pleased!

Have you used a No7 voucher? What did you buy?
