I Graduate Tomorrow- Eeek!!

Ok, so I know I have been banging on about this for the past couple of months, don't blame me, blame the Uni who decided to have their graduation so long after term finished! I have been a mix of nervous and excited about the graduation but the nerves have definitely overtaken.

I am claustrophobic so hate crowds, and this place is going to be packed. Not only that, but as I had Cameron in my final year, I lost touch with pretty much everyone on my course, so unlike some people's graduations where it is a chance to meet up with friends who you may not have seen in a few months, mine is going to just be a bit awkward! Add in the ex boyfriend who will no doubt be bringing along the psycho wife who threatened to beat me up when I was pregnant, and it starts sounding more like a scene from a soap than a celebration of completing my degree. I just want to get the day over with to be honest. I am proud of myself for completing my degree and getting a 2:1, but I am much more excited for my celebration meal on Friday with friends and family than the graduation itself.

Today I have been stressing out over what to do with my makeup for tomorrow and, after a quick ask around on Facebook, think I have decided on some natural looking false eyelashes with some pale brown smokey eyes and a nude lip gloss.

I want to look polished, not too done up so hopefully this will work! The outfit has been ready since September, so now all I have to do is get over the nerves, put on the silly hat and gown and pray I don't fall in front of hundreds of people.... Wish me luck!!

Out for Aaron's birthday :D

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't been blogging lately, I have been a very busy boy perfecting my walking! Mummy is very proud of me as I finally decided to stop being lazy and start walking properly, on my own. She was so happy the first time I did it I thought she might explode. I don't really know what the fuss is all about, I knew I COULD do it, I just didn't want to yet... It was worth the effort though as mummy bought me a brand new pair of trainers yesterday and I loved them so much that I couldn't wait to walk in them and started walking all the way around the shop showing them off to anyone who passed us.

Taking Mummy for a walk around the shoe shop

Mummy has been very happy lately and I think it is partly to do with the fact that she has a new friend. He is a man and very nice. I have met him a few times now and he always makes the effort to pay me attention and as he is stronger than mummy he can fly me around in the air easier and push me in the swings higher, yay!

Me and happy Mummy in London

Not much else is going on at the moment. Mummy is doing something called 'graduating' tomorrow... I am not sure what that means, but she has been getting very nervous and keeps worrying whether she will fall over. I don't know why she is worrying so much, I fall over on a daily basis, it's not that bad!

Me watching Cbeebies with my cousin Spencer

Hope all of mummy's followers are happy too!

Current Wishlist

Ok, so I know it isn't Wednesday... but I wanted to do a wishlist post today as I am currently sat very bored inside. It is raining where I am, and I want to be shopping, but a combination of my car currently being in a garage, and said car costing me £240 when I go to pick it up means that I actually can't afford to go shopping, even a little bit!

So instead, here are the things that I would be buying if I only had those all important pennies (and pounds)...

Cream Chunky Knit Cardigan
£24.99
H & M
I love this cardigan and every time I have gone in H&M lately (which is a lot!), I have debated buying it... I will have to one day! Looks so comfy!

Striped Top/Dress
£9.99
H&M
This says it is a dress but looks pretty short! I would probably wear it over leather look leggings, like the model.
Black Lace Bodycon Dress
£45
ASOS.com
This dress would be perfect for the meals I have coming up. I really want to own something with lace as I have tried some things on and think the trend suits me!

Mesh Strapless Dress with Pearlised Trim
£45
ASOS.com
This dress is gorgeous and would be great for over Christmas to wear out. I actually put it in my basket then remembered my money situation, damn it!
9 ct Gold Amethyst and Cubic Zirconia Ring
£99
H Samuel
I lost a stone from my favourite ring the other day and need a replacement. I have been looking for one that my nan could buy me for Christmas but this is a bit out of price range! I love Amethyst stones though so this is definitely the style I will be looking for!
Chinese Laundry Ruffle Front Shoes
£69.99
New Look
Love these shoes! I don't know when I would wear them (to a wedding maybe?!), but they are so gorgeous I had to include them!

What is on your wishlist at the moment?

Work It, Baby!

For the past 8 weeks I have been attending a fitness class aimed at mums called Work It Baby.

The classes are run by a lovely, bubby woman called Kirsty and since starting, the routines have changed three times which is great as variety helps keep me motivated and on my toes. The latest routine has definitely been the most fun and worthwhile in my opinion and I actually look forward to going to the classes.

Now, if you know me, you will know that I absolutely hate exercise generally as it bores me, I have a severe lack of co-ordination, and I just don't have that urge to 'work out' all the time like some girls do. I tried the gym back when I was at Uni, along with my two uni friends, but ended up going about five times in a few months and it just wasn't worth the money.

What is great about Work It Baby is that the classes are only £5, and you can pay in a range of great packages, such as the one that I am currently on which is £15 for the month, paid in advance. I think a fiver a week, for something that is not only helping me tone up and lose weight, but is also getting me out of the house, giving me a break from being a mum, and helping me meet other mums, is well worth it!

Not having a job this year meant that I would miss out on the Christmas Meal/Parties that other people have, but Kirsty has set up a Christmas Meal for all the Work it Baby members at a hotel in Bournemouth which is a great idea.

If you live in the Bournemouth area and want to tone up and get fit after having had your kids, then I would highly recommend the classes. They are fun, lively, have helped me feel so much more confident about my body and myself and are even doctor recommended (I have suffered from postnatal depression since having Cameron and was advised to go to the class by my health visitor!).

Even better is that Kirsty is currently offering one free taster session to any new members wanting to have a go and see if the classes are for them (offer available up until Christmas, get in touch with Kirsty for details and to book!).

So what are you waiting for? Take a look at the website here and the Facebook page here!

Bowled Over...

So tonight I went out with my boyfriend, his friend and his friend's girlfriend for a couple of drinks and games of bowling.

I was by far the worst of the group and came last on both games we played. The boys were taking it very seriously and bet on the game. I just drank my Rose and swung the ball. Turns out bowling really isn't my game. Even so, I had a fun night.

When I got back to my boyfriend's flat we watched Threesome, which has fast become my favourite programme, it has even overtaken TOWIE (shock, horror!).

It is hilarious and I definitely recommend catching up on it for anyone who has yet to see it!

30 Day Beauty Blog Challenge: Day 23 — Your best bargain makeup item

It's got to be the MUA (Makeup Academy) range from Superdrug. This range has products that only cost £1 but are actually really good value for money. I love their nail varnishes, and eyeshadows and at £1 each I can actually get a full range of shades in both for less than a tenner, bargain!

Have you tried the range? Do you love it as well?

A Tag Post...

I saw this tag post on Bex's blog Futures and loved it so am doing it too!

1. Mood: I am slightly tipsy, having had a few glasses of wine. This is making me much more cheerful than usual as wine helps me to de-stress. Other than that I am nervous about my graduation on Wednesday...

2. If you could dine (for free) anywhere in the world tonight, where would it be? I am actually for once not hungry.... but if I were then I would be very boring and want a curry, from anywhere to be honest, I am not fussed where... love a curry!

3. Do you have any siblings? Yes, I have two brothers and a sister, though my sister lives with my dad in Essex and one brother lives in Newcastle at the moment, for uni.

4. If your pets could talk, what would they say about you? I don't have any pets. Mum was always allergic when I was younger and now with rented accomodation and having Cameron, a pet just isn't practical...

5. Which one do you follow most often, your heart or your head? I have followed my head too much in the past... so am trying to follow my heart more these days and make myself less hard

6. What are three songs on your road trip playlist? Journey: Don't stop believing, Adele: Rolling in the Deep, Kings of Leon: Sex on Fire

7. Would you consider yourself renowned or famous for anything in particular? Not overly. I have been in More Magazine more times than I remember, and blogged for their website... but don't think this makes me particuarly famous...

8. Your favorite place for dessert? Hmmm.... does M&S count? I love their white chocolate cheesecake so much!! Otherwise, anywhere that serves cheesecake to be honest. It's pretty much the only dessert I eat...

9. Scariest movie you’ve ever seen? Hmmm... I don't get scared easily.. I would say that The Strangers scared me quite a bit at the time, but now I wouldn't say it does anymore... I don't get scared by them often, I love horror films!

10. Weekly goals: Graduate! Go for a meal to celebrate... have my car MOT done..

If you do the tag post aswell then don't foeget to post a link below! Love reading them!

Overview of November

This month is a busy one for me. I have a lot of family events coming up and a couple of birthdays of people very close to me so I have lots to look forward to. Here's what's on my calendar this month so far:

9th November:

My graduation is something I have been looking forward to/dreading ever since I got my results and knew for definite that I had passed my four year degree. Despite the fact that I barely even speak to most of the people on my course any more, I am looking forward to it because I really didn't think I was going to make it to graduation. I had Cameron just two weeks before I started back at Uni for my fourth year and I wanted to leave so many times over the year. To have finished my degree at all was an achievement in itself, to do it with a respectable 2:1 degree was great for me! My mum and my dad will be in the audience, along with Cameron.

11th November:

I have been invited to attend my best friend Sealy's graduation and in the evening I am having a family meal to celebrate my own graduation. I can't wait, love being the centre of attention (heehee)!

14th November:

My mum turns 49 and we will be celebrating on the day as well as having a meal later on in the week with family.

16th November:

Sealy's 22nd birthday!

22nd November:

I am unsure whether I will be going, but I was invited to a blogging event up North. It is a long journey with Cameron in tow and I haven't heard back from the organisers since responding to their email, so it won't break my heart if I don't attend.

25th November:

Me and Katie on a 'night out' when I was 8 months pregnant

My friend Katie, who I met online a couple of years ago, is coming down for the weekend and I am very excited as I haven't seen her in months and have missed talking to her as much as I used to of late. Definitely cause for a couple of glasses of wine and plenty of junk food!

Then the first weekend of December I am going to be booking a weekend away in London to go to the Winter Wonderland, do some sightseeing and just have a bit of a break. Can't wait!

Do you have any exciting plans for November?

Meet the Parents...

On Friday night I met my boyfriend's parents (and some other members of his family) and I was totally nervous about it as I have not had to meet parents in about three years.

I went shopping with my mum in the day to get something to wear and found this gorgeous purple top from River Island.

NB: Ignore the awful hair, I washed and styled it before going out!!

I wanted to look nice but not look too dressed up as it was just at his aunt's house, and I think this top, teamed with my dark jeans did the trick. I was still nervous, but it went quite well and I had a really nice night.

Bonfire Night Antics

Last night was Cameron's second bonfire night. For his first one we watched my mum's neighbours firework display which he was not frightened by (surprising as he was only around 6 weeks old at the time).

This year I was going to take him to a proper display but I decided against it at the last minute and just got some sparklers for us to have in the garden.

I am glad I didn't go to a display as he was less than impressed even with just the sparklers. He cried pretty much the entire time we had them, and I now have a packet leftover as a result! Next year maybe he will like fireworks enough to go to a proper display...

After Cameron was in bed me and my friend Sealy had a lazy night in watching Beetlejuice and Bridget Jones 2 in bed with pizza, crisps and chocolate. Perfect!

What did you all get up to for Bonfire night? Did you go to a display?
