Project 365 #42 Playing it Straight
Today has been a bad day and I was exhausted by the time I got home. My boyfriend was lovely and came round with stuff for fajitas. After dinner we watched the final of playing it straight which we've been watching the last few weeks. A nice chilled out evening to try and relax!

Like, Love, Loathe #2
Like
This week I am liking YouTube! After finally making my own channel on the site and posting up my first two vlogs, I have also been enjoying watching my cousin and his work friends in their parody of LMFAO'S Sexy and I Know It as well as my exercise class's promo video which I feature in.
Love
I am loving TV at the moment, which is a bit awkward when the things I want to watch are the kind of things my boyfriend hates meaning I am doing a lot of catch up tv.... Desperate Housewives is back in its last season, One Born Every Minute is constantly making me broody and Don't Tell the Bride is bringing out the wedding planner in me. This Sunday also sees the return of TOWIE. There has been a lot of bitching about this series as many of the familiar faces have been sensatitionally axed or left to pursue other projects (ie reality TV shows such as I'm a Celebrity, Celeb BB). I am giving it the benefit of the doubt as a loyal fan. Besides, I always hated Mark Wright anyway.
Loathe
I absolutely hate people who think they are better than you. I am not mentioning any names as you never know who reads these posts, but basically somebody linked to my moving situation has been really annoying me. I also hate estate agents generally. Sorry if you are one, but seriously, the ones I have come across have all just been about the money, up themselves and rude.

The L Word aka My Latest Obsession
This morning I watched Black Swan for what seems like the hundreth time. I am slightly in love with both Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, total girl crushes! Having put this as my status on FB, my friend Harriet suggested I watch The L Word.
I had of course heard of it as it has had six seasons. However, I had never seen it before. Having streamed the first episode I am officially hooked. Harriet has a habit of getting me addicted to TV shows. When we were still living together back in Uni she managed to get me into Gossip Girl and we watched about ten episodes in one night!
Have you watched this show? What do you think?

Desperate Housewives is Back- Excite!
I cannot wait for tonight because one of my all time favourite TV shows is back- Desperate Housewives is on at 10pm tonight on E4!
The excitement is a bit bittersweet, however, as it is the last series of the show, sob...
Are you a Desperate Housewives fan? Are you going to be watching tonight?

One Born Every Minute is Back....
....and it has already made me broody, damn it!!
I couldn't even watch the last series as it made me cry after a few minutes of the intro. This time I made it to the births to cry but I don't know how much of the series I will be able to watch!

My Best Friend the TV Star!
A few months ago my best friend did an internship at BBC Scotland and whilst there she auditioned for a part in a TV show which she got and the show aired last night on BBC3. The show is How Not to Live your Life and can be viewed on BBC iPlayer here.
She is in the very first scene (the blonde girl) and I am really proud of her!

I'm a Normal Person, Get me out of Here (Please!)
Now, as you may have realised, I am not one to shy away from indulging in the odd 'reality' TV programme. I was a bit emotional when TOWIE finished this week... However, I have never really enjoyed I'm a Celebrity, and having given the first episode a try tonight, I don't think I have become a convert just yet...
To make matters worse, Mark Wright has gone on it.... major turn off on all accounts...
I will have to find myself another programme to obsess about... Any suggestions?

Bowled Over...
So tonight I went out with my boyfriend, his friend and his friend's girlfriend for a couple of drinks and games of bowling.
I was by far the worst of the group and came last on both games we played. The boys were taking it very seriously and bet on the game. I just drank my Rose and swung the ball. Turns out bowling really isn't my game. Even so, I had a fun night.
When I got back to my boyfriend's flat we watched Threesome, which has fast become my favourite programme, it has even overtaken TOWIE (shock, horror!).
It is hilarious and I definitely recommend catching up on it for anyone who has yet to see it!

X Factor USA Has Not Got the X Factor
Did anyone else watch the X Factor USA? I thought it was awful! The americans seemed to be a lot more over the top.. And the reaction of Paula Abdul was just ridiculous! I won't be watching it again....

TV is Getting Reeeeeeem!
OMG I am sooooo excited for Sunday night... Why? You ask... Because TOWIE (ie The Only Way is Essex) is back on our screens and I am the biggest fan around!
I don't care that a lot of people think it is a load of rubbish and fake, yes it is exaggerated for the show, why wouldn't it be? Get over it! It is a bit of lighthearted entertainment and I personally love it! Cannot wait to see it on Sunday after watching the Catch Up interview and clip show tonight!
Also coming back to the small screen this week is the next series of Glee! I am a big Glee fan as well, so this is great news for me. The show is on Sky, which means that I wouldn't be able to see it at mine as I don't have that channel, which is why it is amazing news that it is on Thursdays, as that is the night I have my exercise class, so I stay at my mum's (who does have Sky)! Wooo!! It is fate!
Autumn TV, how I love thee!

Excite!!
Ok, so I know some people will read this and groan.... but I. don't. care!! I fell in love with The Only Way is Essex last series and have had a towie shaped hole ever since it went off my screen. So.... I was very excited to see the trailer for the new series!
It has definitely made me very excited for the new series starting 25th September, which I will hopefully be watching with my very own Joey Essex (my cousin Aaron)!
