I am Freeeeeeeeeeee!!

I promise this will be the last of my uni update blogs for a while as I am now officially finished! 4 long years (the last two feeling like a lifetime with everything that has happened and changed in my life!). I went to have my dissertation bound this morning and then went to hand it in. The relief I felt was amazing! Like ten weights being lifted from my shoulders and the clouds even parted and the sun came out just to join in the celebration. Cameron was asleep when this happened and I made a snap decision to pick up my brother and go shopping.

We spent a few hours going round the shops and I managed to buy a lot of Cameron's birthday presents whilst we were there:

My 1st TV

Bambi!

Loved this top so much I had to get it for his birthday as well!

This looks HUGE!!

Cameron's 1st Car! lol

His 1st Football!

The balls for his ball pitt!

I also got a couple of things for myself as a 'treat' for finishing Uni:

Too Faced Lip Plumper!

It stings!

The Back Up Plan, have heard good things and I can relate!

I also got a wedding magazine, not for myself but for my business portfolio:

Finally, I also went food shopping for my mum and tonight I made us all sausage pasta. When I got back to my mum's I also had a parcel waiting for me and it was from mycandyshop who I had ordered some sweets from only two days ago. The parcel came really quick, and I am very impressed. This is what I got:

Was a bit scared when I opened the parcel and found this......

...but it was just what they used to hold my sweets!

mmmm used to love these!

Jelly snakes!

Milk Bottles

Big dummies/keys

my beloved fruit salads!

Flying Saucers!

I would really recommend this company for sweets! I won a competition with them on Rachel's blog a few months ago and was really happy with my prize so when I couldn't find fruit salads anywhere in the shops I decided to take matters into my own hands and buy some! My night will now be spent in front of Dirty Dancing with my huge box of sweets-yum! Perfect way to end a degree...

I know that feeling. :) Mine was a few years ago now but I clearly remember going through individual stages, the beginner's enthusiasm, the realisation of just how important it is and the terror that comes with it, the stuck-in-a-routine-of-dissertation-writing, looking into dissertation binding and wanting it to look the best it possibly can and, finally, becoming so sick of the sight of it that I didn't much care whether it was professionally bound or wrapped in yesterday's fish and chip paper.

I look on it with a lot more fondness now but at the time, it was like closing the door behind a visitor that had outstayed their welcome. :P

    Anyway, many congratulaions. :)
