I usually buy makeup from Rimmel, Natural Collection and Maybelleine, nothing in my main makeup bag cost more than £9! However, I came across Benefit Cosmetics when I was in my teens and instantly fell in love.
Some of my followers may be reading this and thinking Benefit isn't expensive. It isn't expensive as such but it is compared to my usual makeup and especially when I am a mum to an 8 month old son and find spending £15 on one item of makeup hard to justify!
But Benefit has become my one 'luxury' brand that I treat myself with. I often try and wait until my birthday or Christmas and then stock up on items from their range, to complement my base makeup items.
My favourite items of all time from Benefit have to be:
Bad Gal Lash
Bad Gal Liner
High Beam
Thrrrob Blusher
Big Beautiful Eyes Kit
Pocket Pal Lip/Cheek Stain
These are all amazing products! For my birthday I got Bad Gal Lash and Liner and I still have some High Beam left as it lasts and lasts!
If any of my readers are yet to try out Benefit, I would definitely suggest you take a look at their site by clicking here. They also have concession stands in shops such as Beales and Boots. Take a look and I guarantee you'll be a convert...
I love the Benefit range too, but I also believe its a bit expensive. I think the range is worth it now but like you I tend to stock up rarely...the packaging is so cute in my opinion! I'm a self confessed addict to their palletes, I was given 'Justine case' for Christmas and since then I was addicted. I also have the 'smokey eyes' kit which I love and I'm looking to get the 'big beautiful eyes' kit soon too.
ReplyDeleteI love the mascarra but for me it has always dried up really quickly (this has happened twice to me) - do you find that or did I just pick up some dodgy ones? xxx
No, actually I agree with you on the mascara. But it made my lashes look like falsies without the effort so i forgive it! Lol... love the packaging too! xx
